Pray for this Year's Election

We are blessed to live in a nation that has more freedoms, rights, and opportunities than any other country that has ever graced the face of the earth. We're not perfect, far from it, but I believe we are a nation that still has hope.

God's Word tells us in Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!"

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

In Deuteronomy chapter 28, Moses gives the promise of God to Israel about what blessings the Lord will pour out on a righteous nation that follows after Him and what will befall a nation that ignores and turns from His commandments.

We have stood on the brink of this very decision for many years now. Will we be a nation that clings to the word of God, a nation that is proud to be called on as a Christian Nation, or will we continue down a path of secularism.

Join us Monday, November 2nd at 6 PM in the Sanctuary of First Christian Church of High Point as we pray for our country, for this election, and that God would turn us as a nation back to Him.
